Encrypt a document to email etc.
If you're a new company or quite small and want to make the leap into the Cloud I can help clarify what it will mean, what services are on offer and how to leverage them all.
Network and systems management can become tedious, along with new employee onboarding and equipment hardening. As a bonus CSPs usually get cheaper Microsoft licensing.
The IT Help Site is a brand new company founded in 2023 and run by me, Craig.
My goal is to work with small to medium companies and individuals that just need a helping hand, or someone to take over the reins fully, offering your more traditional Managed Service Provider role (MSP).
At the core I believe that IT should be simple, because the more complicated a system is, the more that can go wrong.
I work with Microsoft and Google cloud services, as well as almost any brand of hardware, and I adopt Microsoft's Zero Trust methodology to help you stay online and keep your and your customer's data secure.
Today's IT landscape is as advanced as it has ever been, with artificial intelligence and the availability of computing power that was previously reserved only to governments and mega corporations.
The migration away from on-premises to cloud-based working has also reached a happy median with many companies adopting a hybrid environment, keeping some of their data and services in their own office, and leveraging the cloud for remote workers and huge workloads.
It's now the responsibility of the corporations and companies to ensure they keep their customer's data as safe as possible and I can help with the best practices coming from security leaders like Microsoft, Google and Amazon.
Your IT security starts with you, but you do not have to make these decisions alone, especially when you may not be able to cope with running your business and worrying about the myriad of threats that can attack you.
You should be considering:
- Email security as most phishing attempts start with email.
- Staff training to identify and handle phishing attempts.
- Network security to avoid viruses spreading and malicious actors accessing network resources.
- Endpoint security to detect malware and compromised computers.
- Data Loss Prevention methods like access rights so you know where your company's data is and who has it.
- Password management and Multi Factor Authentication, which can seem daunting but really are simple once adopted.
